Community Collaboration: Block Party Design Event + Fundraiser
A Night of Design, Craft, and Community!
This spring, our team was proud to participate in this year’s Block Party Design Event + Fundraiser hosted by MADE PDX and Design Within Reach—a celebration of design, craft, and community that brought together designers and makers in support of a meaningful cause.
We gathered at DWR in Portland’s Pearl District to explore a curated collection of work and participate in a live auction. Each piece on view carried a distinct story of collaboration, material exploration, and the shared belief that design can extend beyond objects into real social value. Every bid placed directly supported the mission of The Children’s Healing Art Project, an organization dedicated to bringing creative expression and healing art experiences to children facing medical challenges.
For our contribution, we were honored to present The Forest Glow Lamp, created in collaboration with Formed Objects. This piece functioned as a small architectural study in atmosphere and materiality, inspired by the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest.
