Risa Boyer Architecture is a boutique full-service, award-winning architecture and interior design firm specializing in modern, timeless residences and creative commercial environments. Open spaces, natural light, and a sense of connection between the indoors and outdoors define our work. We take pride in our ability to meld high design with high performance building practices as we design for a sustainable future.
Engaging with our clients as creative collaborators, we maintain in-depth communication from start to finish. And by taking an active role in every aspect of design and construction, we ensure that creativity continues throughout every stage. Our attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of construction ensures that the design transitions fluidly to the built structure.
At RBA, we believe good design can happen with any budget, small details are as vital as the big picture, and that the best kind of architecture enhances the quality of life while bringing pleasure to its inhabitants. Risa Boyer Architecture was founded in 2006 in Los Angeles and relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2008. RBA's work has been featured in various publications, including Dwell, Atomic Ranch, Residential Design, 1889 Magazine, Portland Monthly, Houzz, Curbed, The Oregonian, and Gray Magazine. Recent award-winning projects include The Fernhill Residence and The Glen Road Project.

At Risa Boyer Architecture, our team shares a love for thoughtful design, beautiful materials, and the way good architecture can elevate everyday life. We come from all over—but we’ve all found our creative home in Oregon, where natural beauty meets bold ideas.
Led by a team of four women architects and designers, a marketing coordinator, and a couple of friendly office dogs, Risa Boyer Architecture is small by design—allowing for deep involvement, meaningful collaboration, and a personal touch across every phase of a project.
