Olivia Snell, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Architect
Olivia joined RBA in 2022 with a strong grounding in multifamily housing, public-interest design, and creative expression that bridges both art and architecture. As an AIA member and LEED Accredited Professional, she integrates thoughtful sustainability practices into each project—bringing flexibility, rigor, and a human-centric mindset to the studio's residential work.
Originally from the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, Olivia holds a Master of Architecture and a B.A. in Art History from Drury University, alongside a Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design from Portland State University. Prior to joining RBA, she spent five years designing multifamily housing—an experience sharpening her ability to balance programmatic complexity, spatial efficiency, and community impact.
At RBA, Olivia contributes grounded, collaborative energy to custom residential projects. She weaves design excellence into everyday living, with work that's not only striking but also purposeful, sustainable, and deeply informed by client needs and site context.
One standout moment in her creative journey was designing and constructing a performance stage for the Pickathon Music Festival in Happy Valley, Oregon—a project that synthesized structure, artistry, and the environment in a truly immersive way. Beyond the studio, Olivia plays music, discovers Portland’s scenic trails, and runs with her dog Millie—who’s always ready for an outdoor adventure.
